I'm Dr Carol Matthews, British historian. I have one mission: to bring British history to you. That's why I created The Auld Manor House.
I create courses & resources that tell the story of British history through the eyes of a beautiful English Country House & its inhabitants from the Tudors to the Edwardians.
The Auld Manor House is for women who long to know more about their favourite period, but maybe can't visit Britain, don't want formal study or want to connect with other women who share their passion for Britain & it's fascinating history.
